In general I like most of what the phone offers but I do miss the S Pen. I was not using it every day but the occasions when I did use it cannot be supplemented with finger use to a satisfactory level. Even a year after the switch I'd still be open to switch back to Note until Apple would come up with an S Pen alternative.

So what will be the difference between this and S8+? If it's a Note, I expected a wider screen since the S8 and S8+ looked weirdly narrow and long

Wow! Even with the S-Pen & all, I think the Note8 will have a better screen-to-body ratio than the S8+.

I am bored of these guys who claim That they had all the Note s from now But they did not used the Pen
They did not this because they do not know to use it at full benefits.

I have in use almost 2 Months the S8 and I guess there is no Need for PEN anymore. The editing tool are really good and no Need for pen, you can use your finger is very precise.

I can't live without the S-Pen these days. When I try a phone without one it takes just a few minutes before I drop it in frustration.

The screen ratio, curved edges won't help the S pen either.

Despite owning every note but 5 i don't see anything to convince me to get the Note 8.
The tall screen ratio isn't great on phablets and the extra 0.1", S pen and dual camera wont tempt many GN7 owners who went to the S8+.
The S8+ is great but i am not a fan of the curved edges or screen ratio.

It helps in taking quick notes, writing numbers to save directly and extracting only useful content with many options. Other great features apart only s-pen alone can make a note the smartest device over the competition. It is very useful and every Note user know what's the greatness of the s pen. No matter what type of user you are - corporate, student, normal chat person or just a home user you'll find plenty of useful, experience enhancing features out of the s pen in Note phones.

decreasing the battery capacity because of placing of SPen..? I think that's not acceptable.. you don't see the logic here, same processor with additional feature(dual cam, bigger screen and bigger ram) you don't think this is more battery consumption than S8+ with 3500mAh..

after how many months of fiasco on note 7, the only solution they made is to lower the battery capacity to 3300mAh.. wow..!!! what a hell of a job Samsung.. remember same processor of S8+ but with bigger screen, bigger ram, dual cam and SPen feature with all that additional features you only put 3300mAh lower than S8+ 3500mAh..

If Samsung only use its own chipset which is Exynos, then the cost should be cheaper than buying other company's chipset like the Snapdragon.
