The Update is also available for the G925 Edge variant of the S6 in UK and Europe for unlocked devices.

So tell me what is the dissimilarity after Z5 family being updated to 7.1.1 subsequently? Other than having a newer security patch, what are the new features were given? So for me, it makes no difference from S6 for having a newer security patch too. Yea I had almost forgotten to mention... instead of having a supposed new features for Z5, yet they minus something important in fact. Night Mode and the launch actions shortcut. It's a complete rubbish update if you ask me.

I use Samsung s4, 05 Jul 2017Tell the Samsung to release an update for s4 too.Root,get an s7/s8 rom and you have the latest stuff.Don't rely on a company to update a 4 years old device,you can do it by yourself.Maybe you will find some stock android roms,lineage os.

I've just checked my updates again today, I checked them yesterday and nothing available. Using S6 Edge on UK EE im getting what looks to be the V7.0 update 1170MB, finally getting the update that ive been waiting for that BTU had months ago

In the Philippines we have not even received the S6 Nougat OTA update. Our carrier Smart has no idea when its coming. Pathetic

Needless to say, that it is 100% obvious that if you update a version/variant (S6 base/standard) you must update the other model (S6 Edge) as well. It would be an absolute out of reality if Samsung won't do so. Then regarding the update per se, let's say that at least it is better than nothing.
