Yeah, I have enough of having two copies of an app because Samsung builds their own enhanced versions and they have to bundle the Google package. No Samsung user use Google Play Music because their app just rules.
Internet is better than Chrome in many aspects.
S Calendar/Planner and E-mail are so much better than their Google counterparts.
Even S Finder is becoming increasingly more powerful. It only lacks durect web search to destroy Google Search.

The OS is FREE but comes with conditions, don't like the conditions don't use the OS that simple. It's not like its a hidden cost or condition so their shouldn't be a problem.

Imagine you are a phone maker and you build your phone and its time to install your OS you put play store and play services but you got some nice music app and gallery and email client and news reader..... Which are better than googles
You see here is where the problem is in order to use their store you don't need just play services (which is somewhat fine)
In order Google to allow you to use their store you need also to put all of their apps like newsstand,books,play music, hangouts, photos,gmail...
Do you understand where the problem is ? They promote their apps no wonder all of them have 1bilion installs
So as OEM you don't have a choice if you want play store you need to advertise all of their below average apps
I don't know what windows you have but I don't have media player on mine
Also don't forget Microsoft already paid fine like this for IE and Media Player and everyone was so cheerful that evil M$ is paying fines
But when googles does the same thing somehow google is right to do it and EU is bad
Unless you are alphabet stockholder I can't see why you defend them so much
I don't want to be rude just trying to understand your point of view

how can any of you be defending google here? there are valid questions this raises, but the eu has done so much to protect consumer rights. its even more laughable with americans and their so-called "free market"

So if you want google service you take all of them or none of them.
If you want windows 10 you got to live with microsoft edge and windows media player by example sure you can always use something else but they come built in and are the default app.
Most ppl use others browser on windows funny eh?
So stop the excuses.

Yet a company can't make an Android Google device next to an Android "Google Free" device or an Android Yandex .
With all these app bundles then if Samsung want to make a phone then they are stuck with Google maps and including Here maps or Yandex maps would be bloatware and decrease the chance of people using these map services .
That is monopoly .
As I remember Amazon Fire had problems while making the phone because some companies are afraid of making the component for a Non-Google Android device which means Google may start to refuse devices with these components.

Want the best store for Android well you got to pay for it mr OEM and the cost is also putting all others google services.

All OS come with installed app you CANNOT uninstall Apple do it as well ( Hell on iOS you cant even choose another internet browser as default lol )
If you are not happy you can always use a features phone.

So much for having a open source OS. Google is becoming greedy and monopolistic. The OS is not exactly free cuz Google is forcing OEMs to include its apps and services. It's similar like how you can get a smartphone cheaper if you opt for Amazon ads.
Yeah, its a violation of trust and Google should be fined for it. Google claims its OS as open source and free when it isn't.

AnonD-408110, 06 Jul 2017China already banned google play services long time ago And they do not have access to the google play store as a result.
Nothing free in life if you want google play you have to put google app in the phone.
But you also have to make it very easy for ppl to switch to something else if they do not want to use them.

Google is forcing companies to bundle their service if they want one service. More explicitly you can't have just the play store. If you want the play store, you will have to get the Google app. Gmail, Due and others. And here comes the issue. As a customer you have the right to buy what you want. With out buying extras. You don't go buy a car and be forced to buy a motercycle fro. The same car company. The motorcycle is something you don't need. And definitely the car company shouldn't have a say if you'd get their brand or not
