Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) and A7 (2016) getting new update

The phone though hard a capable hardware, never got any update beyond the Android jellybean 4.1.2, not even Android 4.2. Since then, i had dropped their phones for the Chinese OEM's.

        AnonD-104084, 07 Jul 2017Why Samsung why you not update nougat for A 2017 series Because as usual, samsung offers two big updates for their phones, so it is good to give you an oldest software, and no newer updates. For example If they started at 7.0 nougat, they should give you 9 android version. But if they start at 6 (although 7 is out one year ago) , they ll give the latest 8. All it is about costs..Although they have good devices, they have no support for software, and they dont give some features to older devices that are really capable of. I have s5 plus, and i have no themes selection. I know it is not that important but other devices weaker have it. All of these features are matter of software. And really i cant see any new innovation for last s8 model. S5 plus has everything as s8, and it could do some extra things if they update the software. For battery i have 5600mah, which gives me double and more energy. In other words, no worth to buy samsung nowdays, only chinese ones.

            Also, @samsung: do you really need to send Facebook app bundled in a software update? I am not sure if I am right or wrong, but I think this is a new low. Sorry Samsung, I am one of your great admirers, but you do something wrong, we should be the first to point out.

              Better than nothing, at least.

                And again a5 2016! Why? Where is update for a5 2017???

                  i have A5(2016) and get update Android nougat last week but some issues in this update. when i go to setting main heading color white and background also white so heading not showing.
