It would be dissapointing if this is X4. I was going to insta-buy X4 with 660 and 3800 mah battery but if they reduce both, chipset and battery.. no way for me.

A SnapDragon 630 & a 3000mah battery are very disappointing compared to the initial rumors of a SnapDragon 660 & a 3800mah battery.
Disappointing, as in, moving from an instant buy to a do not buy at all. Oh well.

I think this will be a "g" series device, most probably the "moto g5s", here the "S" stand for "selfie" and there will be another version "moto g5s plus" with dual rear camera.

Anonymous, 11 Jul 2017I hope bezels won't be huge.Considering that most of the new Motorola phones have screen to body ratios similar to the iPhone I wouldn't expect bezels any smaller than the iceberg that hit the Titanic

Moto need a new design...the huge camera module on the back doesn't look good at all compared with the discrete design of the competition.

I was hoping it would come with SD 660 along with IP certification like initially leaked and priced midway between Moto Z2 Play and Moto Z2. That way, it would complete against Xiaomi Mi6 and Honor 9. But of course, just like the case with SD 652/650 last year, SD 660 will mostly likely be used only on phablets. Sony was the only manufacturer that used the SD 650 in phones with 5" and 4.6" screen and if previous news are accurate, then there won't be any sequel to those phones anymore, so I'm completely giving up hope on a 5" screen (or lower) phone with SD 660 at the helm. smh
