Cedric the Sorcerer, 12 Jul 2017I think I'll rephrase it: can we hack it to remove the ads?... moreNow that makes sense. ;-)
Can anyone reply to this question? Although it may not matter to anyone outside the USA.
There was a similar situation with the Amazon Fire tablets whereby you could install google play services on them (to access a broader choice of apps) but you couldn't get rid of the lockscreen ads.

This article should be changed to reflect the fact that the phone is actually fully compatible with ONLY T-MOBILE in the US.

The Amazon page doesn't list what frequency bands the phone operates on, only stating "Compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile networks". This is a big deal because the only variant of the phone I am aware of won't hit 4G speed in the USA because it doesn't support any AT&T or T-Mobile LTE bands. And who wants a 3G phone in 2017?

yeah it doesn't even have all the bands necessary for full compatibility with ATT, so I wouldn't buy it if you're on ATT or any of the MVNOs that piggyback on their network.

can it hack without ads with application, root, flashing or ??

Well, obviously it is subjective, but I'm of the idea that it is better to pay slightly more but without ads on the lock screen.
