Anonymous, 13 Jul 2017This it is. It can't go better than that, maybe 5 000 batte... moreMmmm, well the front facing camera could be better, Nokia and Samsung have more MP in the front shooter. It's the only weakness in the package. Needs a good screen and camera/video quality and this could be the best budget phone, maybe until Moto G comes across.

Sonu4678, 13 Jul 2017Having bigger batteries doesn't mean better endurance. Some... moreThat is because that phone might be on a 14nm soc .like galaxy a3 2017 and many others . and you might be comparing it to a 28nm soc of xiaomi...

Only and major downside is the smaller Battery. Probably the rumors about the Note 5 getting a smaller battery are also true.

Xiaomi I know it's a mid range phone but at least throw in UFS 2.0 (not even saying UFS 2.1) yet you are still using eMMC 5.1...come on, another than that is a decent spec phone.

I thought the Redmi 4 was great, but didn't like the weight at 156 grams- way too heavy for a phone that is supposed to be compact. So much heavier than the 3 series which was 139 or 144 grams.

I've always been a fan of the Redmi line (the Notes as well).
I'm not sure how accurate the pricing info is though, €8 difference between 32/3gb and 64/4gb versions. For that price gap who in their right mind would go for the 32/3gb?
I'm glad they didn't go with the SD430 too like a lot of other companies, even though the SD625 is getting a little dated it's still a great chipset in this price range. Xiaomi do really need to create a higher global presence though.

As compared to other big names in smartphone market, no one can beat Xiaomi when it comes to value for money.. At least on paper. I never owned So I don't know about build quality, s/w updates. I believe none of the big names give s/w update to low end phones.
I think Xiaomi only invest much money in r&d of mi series mobiles. Not to these redmi

It seems (quite predictable) that Xiaomi will launch a couple of phones at almost the same time. On the other hand, Moto (Lenovo) will do the same (more or less). Obviously much better for us enthusiasts, so welcome in advance.
