Anonymous, 16 Jul 2017Why so much hate?. Just install any keyboard you want from ... morein case if you don't know, you can also install and use an alternative keyboard for iOS, stop thinking iOS can't do that.

Also, just because you can do whatever you want to do on Android, doesn't mean it is a good thing. You get unwanted popups in Android, where iOS 100% won't get that. And MANY MANY more.

Why are you people attacking HTC? They didn't put ad's on that keyboard, they didn't even make it. Did you even read the article?

This is bad enough for me to not want to buy an HTC phone, even with the ability to install a different keyboard.

Anonymous, 16 Jul 2017HTC = Help This CompanyAnd after this comedy of the ads, it makes even more sense, haha.

Anonymous, 16 Jul 2017HTC = Help This CompanyHaha nice one.

They're not really great advertisers to promote ads, so why bother?

whaaat? really??? Now even this comedy. Okay I have some certificates in online marketing, business, etc., so I can understand their reasons, etc. But now it's too much, and when it's too much it's too much. It is becoming a true obsession. They really don't have any respect for no one and nothing, everywhere you go is almost always full with ads. And the worst is when they absolutely are not related with that particular site with the particular topic. Basically it is really impressive.

My mom got a free tab from her carrier, amazing, because she should get paid to carry around an "in your face ad whenever" paperweight...

People thinks that HTC started to put ads on its keyboard while the truth is that HTC put Touchpal keyboard on its phones in which TouchPal started to put ads not HTC, think of it like if Google started to put ads on its Google Music included in the phone (it wouldn't but just imagine), in this case Google would be responsible not the phone manufacture.
I think Touchpal is a good keyboard and choosing it as a default keyboard wasn't a stupid choice but was an unlucky one for HTC.

Of course someone may argue why HTC didn't make a deal or went to be sure about that.

Ads are the fuel of the capitalism. If you do not like move to North Korea and get slogans instead ads.
