Amoleds screens are never the best for any eyes :) Just because they blinks with brightness less than 100%. So IPS rules here.

Oleds are the best, Samoleds are the best of the best, especially ever since they focused on producing accurate colors. Now they have the best battery usage, best contrast, sun legibility and somehow even top luminosity! The S8 has the best display ever put on mobile.
I am very glad Xiaomi made that deal, as I like them more than any other firm and it is the only one who had the decency to open business in Europe! However if there was one point they were behind Huawei and oppo/OnePlus, it was the display. Now they will even those OLED screens, with the best there is, I expect top phones coming from them soon after that and greatly increased battery performance!

If you want to save your eyes then must go for amold display phone. SAmold is the best display till date. I never feel any stress on eyes after long use of J7.

That means SGS7/SGS8 level of quality. And these high-end units are on short supply, and I believe this is what Apple wanted; the best and not second-best.
The other vendors get their next best offering which is around the Note 4/SGS6 level quality.
AMOLED screens sourced from no-name places (eg OnePlus 5) are on quality parity that is around the Galaxy Note 3/SGS5 level.
So the next Xiaomi phones with AMOLED displays can have a widely varying quality level all the way from 2013's Note 3, to 2015's SGS6, to 2017's SGS7. Quality affecting the brightness, contrast, accuracy, power draw, and solar reflection/legibility.

What happened to Samsung can't supply enough AMOLED's to apple for their iphone? So they can't supply enough but will take on another vendor, knew it was BS. Good move from Xiaomi though they just get better and better.

Redmi 5/5X will probably still have IPS. I'd gladly pay more for OLED screen.
