Is it an AMOLED display? If not, Nokia's gonna seriously regret it.
Plus, if it's priced above600$ and the ram is less than 6GB, another bad decision.

Nope, not the Nokia n8, not the Pureview 808, not the Lumia 1020, Not the Lumia 950, actually was Huaway and their gimmick Leica device (why gimmick? cause it does not actually have real Leica lenses ;), got to admit, the world has no more place for intelligence.

AnonD-595251, 17 Jul 2017There's a chance that people who make negative comments are... moreNot necessarily. I won't tell you my age, but I used to be a Nokia 5110 user... And then some... And Lumia 1520, which I think still one of the most gorgeous Nokias ever made. And IMHO this NOKIA 8 looks eh, pretty unimpressive. Too bad.

It is also present on my Sony XZ so don't presume the fingerprint sensor is on the screen.

                    - No, Foxconn does not built all these phones. Sony, Htc, Asus and LG have own factories.

Trump fan 1980, 18 Jul 2017 Hopefully Nokia can outdo it's opponents.they obviously can since HMD are filled with most Nokia operatives, but they will need time for sure, it ain't easy to catch up even with Xiaomi's killer prices

Ok... moreI used Nokia's for years and loved them but they killed the company around 2007 by refusing to meet the obvious large screen, no keyboard demand. Instead they kept going with 2.4 to 2.8 inch screens. Great example of how to destroy a world leading brand.

Maybe the Nokia 9 is going to be just a bigger Nokia 8, like the S7 and Note 7 (excluding the pen of course).

AnonD-94869, 17 Jul 2017Chill out, this is not Nokia. It is a gimmickpeople always fail to realize that Nokia has always been expensive not because of it's specs and features but because of its quality and durability, people tend to forget the prices Nokia had before Microsoft acquired the brand and destroyed it with more expensive prices and bad products

iPhones, Galaxies, and other phones, we all know they have low cost of production yet their respective brands put them out with way too high prices

HMD is not just another company, HMD's staff and admin, even the engineers and most of their employees, all came from the actual brand itself, not just wannabes to take on the mobile phone industry

FoxConn? people talk bull about FoxConn when they are also the manufacturers of Acer, Sony, Xiaomi, HP, Dell, Apple and other know brands in the technology world like Cisco etc. FoxConn was also a Nokia factory before Microsoft sold it to China. Chinese products only sucks because the companies give their manufacturers low budget or low-end materials to produce their products, it's not the country China, it's the people (not all), the laborers and the government that makes the country get a bad name

Needs a big camera sensor and xenon flash for me to truly consider it a "Nokia" flagship.
