Meizu Pro 7 camera samples show off is B&W photography skills

Well stylized photos, but they are technically poor. Heavy handed noise reduction gives the photos the dreaeed oil painting effect, and makes all but rhe highest contrast detail dissapear, especially in the first photo. The dynamic range and the HDR modes both appear to be very poor. Heavy and noticeable ringing and other artifacts, especially in the color photo, show the poor quality of the HDR and sharpening algorithms. The B&W photos also lack the beautiful, high contrast gradation and clarity that is usually attributed with B&W photos, especially dedicated digital B&W cameras and film.

As long as the camera is at least on par with the Pro6 Plus, i will get this phone (Plus version).
I`ve had tons of phones including almost all flagships (and the supposed flagship killer) of last year and as a whole package, the Meizu Pro 5 and the Pro 6 plus were the best out of them by far. They work like a clockwork, the battery life and reception is absolutely superb, they sound great, the one button handling is the most comfortable way ever created to use a smartphone and while flyme 5 had it`s problems, flyme 6 is great. I sold my Pro 6 plus to get a V20 a few weeks ago, and i`m already regretting it. The battery life sucks in comparison, the reception is bad, Internet feels slower with 4g than on the Meizu with 3g, the fingerprint scanner is slower and sometimes even completly refuses to work( "unlocking with fingerprint not avaiable right now?!") etc. Also the phone is slower, it is too big even for a 5`7" and it feels clunky to use and the camera sucks in difficult daylight conditions. What it has over the Meizu is the sound quality (not by much though), the wide angle camera, changeable battery and radio + infrared sensor. As a whole package, the Pro 6 plus is still much better though. You can say what you want about Chinese phones, but Meizu knows their thing.

raz, 19 Jul 2017like always in those situations, probably PR crap. working... morethat is normal. one should not expecting to have the best photo just using AUTO MODE. even pros photographer need hours to get the right scene, by any means patience is important. to achieve the best photo indeed need manual mode and tripod. even with high end DSLR if ppl just randomly taking pictures, the output still crap, thats why there have classes for photography.

working on a photo for hours using manual mode with tripod, doesn't say shit.
I bet that auto mode will never get photos like that.
