I like Apple devices but I am just reading all the comments here and comparing with the comments from the S8 and all they said was the fingerprint scanner in the back is the worst idea that Samsung made not because is in the back. Because is hard to manager or unlock the phone while driving for example.. Hahaha But when Apple may be thinking about this (because this can be fake) every one will love it or worst, everyone wants to improve the fingerprint making the apple logo as fingerprint scanner. You my friend has to be universal.

Not because it's android. I haven't heard any other manufacturers get bashed because they put their fp sensor in the back.
I don't care if you want to fanboy, as long as you get your facts straight first before starting an argument. At least be smart.

Hahaha well, iFans every where. It doesn't matter is Apple make the worst phone, they will always say apple is the best in innovation. What a poor thing !

There could be another possibility.
Its the magnetic charging port. Same as the Apple watch magnetic charger.

My my what a mess.. With UGLY camera bulge now fingerprint below the logo (which replicate every other chinese phone).. This is a new low.. Even as a hater I admire Apple's design philosophy.. I pity those fans who have been waiting for this

Why would one lie about ones profession ... well i guess if you are working at a call centre you may. That said along with being a Professor I also assist Samsung with their design issues primarily on their mobile front (both commercial be it their phones or cars (samsung/renualt collaboration) and their business solutions). There is a difference between compromise and creating a valid design solution. You also have to keep in mind if a near edge display does not appear on the speculated iphone 8 Apple as a company is sure to see a minor increase in stock price at best compared to a design solution.

I have no problem with my Galaxy s8 fingerprint scanner. Go to best buy or T-Mobile and pick up one for yourself , hold it , you will be surprised how small the Galaxy s8 is in the hand. My Galaxy a5 2017 is 5"2 screen and this phone is bigger than the Galaxy s8 5"8 screen
