I wonder what other countries LG will sell this model in...

Tom....., 21 Jul 2017I think it will cost around $400 just like the V34 in Japan. I'm guessing 480 USD. However, I hope your price estimate is right.

And no one will complain about it's bezels because it's not Sony's Smartphone.

You know let's make a mini version but now make the battery non removable

              Who makes these decisions?
              V5 removable V6 not V20 removable Q8 not.

I like this phone, I like the size. Phablets are not my thing and neither is non removable batteries

Anonymous, 20 Jul 2017Not with their boot loop historyWell , They won't do the same mistake given that they barely escaped a lawsuit from G4 and V10 owners recently. It would destroy their mobile brand. V20 & G6 works fine right. I didn't check the XDA threads with faults of the V20, But there's no issues with the G6 so far except for that camera Glass/Plastic which scratches easily.

This phone is same as "L-01J" for NTT docomo and "LGV34" for au by KDDI. It is are just a model number not a model name. It's being sold in Japan with two carriers.

                            "a 13MP sensor (1/2.6”, 1.12µm"
Not possible. 13 megapixels and 1.12 micron are never a 1/2.6" sensor when the aspect ratio is 4:3 or 16:9.

For people don't know it is a rebrand of LG V34, a phone launched on mid November only for one carrier in Japan.
This is a new name of the phone with right lte band for Europe.
Spec and design exactly the same

JackTheIPhoneKiller, 20 Jul 2017Damn u LG, this should have been LG G5 in the 1st place.Nah. I'm one of the few who prefers the design of my G5 more than my V20 and maintaining removable battery. I wouldn't trade my V20 for this Q8/V34 because I don't want to lose removable battery which is extremely rare to find.

G5 is the single most underrated phone of all-time. V20 is right next to it.
