DNeighbor, 21 Jul 201733 days to go before the reveal. Another month or two when ... moreI wanted iPad pro since it came out. Note isn't for serious drawing, especially now with curved useless edges. Price would be similar. You need to ask yourself am I looking for a new phone with quite sketches on the go or something more serious like iPad pro? If battery won't last a day after few hours of drawing, then a sketch pad is better option.

AnonD-77443, 21 Jul 2017The note 8 certainly isn't generating the buzz or comments ... more33 days to go before the reveal. Another month or two when it's available. I'm holding my breath. Sigh, I'm actually thinking of getting an iPad Pro 12.9" for my drawing needs if I am disappointed with the Note8 - iPad Pro is suppose to be the best drawing tablet right now.

Samsung, you're starting to lose my interest with lesser features and lesser battery capacity. It'd be strike 3 (strike 1-Note.5, strike 2-Note7) if Note8 becomes a non-interest for most Note users like me.

Anonymous, 21 Jul 2017OK. Let's see how it will battle with Sony XZ Premium which... morePlease... I do buy Sony product like their Bluetooth earphone sets, however, Sony Phones are just so lacking in battery, less-bezels and AMOLED screen departments.

Their camera isn't optimized properly, even if they have the world's best sensors. Nothing to overcome what Samsung has been doing. Battery stamina is their biggest problem. I don't see the point if I need to charge an Xperia every 9 hours if I want to use it with data/wifi and my notifications are always on - no use of any smartphone if you don't turn them on, and have to carry a powerbank all the time.

Anonymous, 21 Jul 2017Nokia = King Samsung = Out of this GalaxyThe only ''kings'' right now are Apple and Samsung. Nokia only introduced mid-range and low-end devices. When they introduce a flagship device that'll be able to compete with the current high-end devices from Apple and Samsung, then we'll talk.

I would love to have a twin camera with a moderately wide & telephoto combo.
About 28mm and 50-70mm (in FF terms) should do just about right! :)

Other than that of course, the stylus can have some features that can make it gamer or artist friendly, maybe.... they can have a 3D modelling, or object creation possibility or so, by distance measuring and all....
Replaceable battery should be great, although not quite expected from Samsung now...

Maybe some more audio features, and rest can be same as S8.

The note 8 certainly isn't generating the buzz or comments the 7 did. It's a shame that the note series is now just a slightly bigger screen series with an s pen and some incremental spec improvements. The not should steer clear of tall curved screens and look at better battery life for starters.

What would I expect of Note 8 not want!

4K HDR screen as Sony XZ Premium.
6 Gig ram but 8 Gig would be better.
                                IR blaster.
                                SD836 Exynos over Snapdragon.
                                Vulkan API.
More efficient Touchwiz and less Bloatware.
Dual Camera or Carl Ziess optics.

If Note 8 is going to have same specs as S8+, then why do we need to pay so much premium only for the s pen......
Samsung just look back at the fate of Nokia, it's not too old.... should learn not to fool the customers every year...
If you don't have any substantial development for the new flagship, wait for one more year and come with a bang...

No more curve screen for note series please, it is useless to be honest if you will not be able to use the advantages of the S-pen in the big screen.

The top and bottom bezels for note 8 seem bigger than s8/s8+.
