I'm surprised this phone got an update at all, this thing's old compared to their other things now. Nice to know they acknowledged this phone to be worthy of a Nougat update.

murtaza121, 22 Jul 2017'it might take time for the update notification to pop up o... moreAndroid O is right around the corner and LG updates a flagship device to Nougat. Good job LG. Software support on Android is horrible. Well, it is the fault of the OEMs. All of them think that they need to heavily alter Android to make it "special". This costs time and efforts.

Android OEMs should only alter Android by implementing their unique camera algorithms, screen render algorithms and audio enhancement algorithm. The OEMs then compete on design & hardware level and how well they have optimized their special algorithms to enhance user experience.

I own the H962 Model, Purchased unlocked and shipped to me in the UK, it's by far the best phone I have ever owned and I have owned a lot of different phones in recent years, Mine hasn't bootlooped yet and hopefully it won't happen, if it does I'll just buy another, having a removable battery and the ability to add different back covers with wireless charging makes this a really good device, the camera is incredible and the audio is top notch, the second screen just tops it all, incredibly useful feature, it's rugged but sleek design is the icing on the cake, I hope in the future that LG produce a device of equal worth, removable battery included, Android Nougat on the V10 is great, it took a while to arrive but it was worth it

So certainly it's a good news for the respective users.

'it might take time for the update notification to pop up on your handset's screen' - yes, provided your handset still works and hasn't bootlooped yet.
A bit late to the game with the Nougat update, LG.
