I am not bothered about the battery though since I have a battery mood, the most interested part of this phone is the camera, but I will going to make sure first that there is a OIS before purchasing this one but I believe there is so I will just hang on to my regular z for the moment though.

Laaaaaaaaaaame. Who wants a 6.1mm thin phone? 6.7 is perfect, gives more room for headphone jack and a more decent battery. Sorry Lenovo, that's a failure. Go back to your ThinkPads, the only thing you didn't messed up.

AnonD-659932, 25 Jul 2017Hello, moto. wtf are you doing? No 3.5mm, no ois, small ba... moreYou have to buy a mod with 3.5 mm jack, ois camera module, a battery pack which cost around $700 only. Such a great company!!!

No OIS, no EIS, no hi-res sound, no stereo speakers, no headphone jack, no water resistance, tiny battery, only 5mp front camera with quite small f/2.2 aperture, significantly smaller pixel size and aperture of the rear camera when compared to other flagships and no extra features, such as 'Edge Sense', 'Usonic' and 'BoomSound' on HTC U11, 'Bixby', bezel-less design and HDR screen on Galaxy S8 or ultra slow-motion video recording on Sony Xperia XZ premium. And Lenovo/Motorola is searching for fools who will pay 800$ for this? Not this time...

Why is there no OIS... WTF has the world come to, when manufacturers skips the OIS but wants to sell a "great" camera experience ?!

Obviously they want people to pay for their mods...Make a shitty device and then expect people to pay buy it and pay tons of money to make it usable...makes perfect sense, eh? Except it didn't go too well last time.

i don't normally want to post bad words on new device
leave it alone or leave a positive comment is what i want
but as a moto user...reducing battery fromm 35xx to 27xx is a shitty move
p.s...no headphone jack is still a no go for me and many million smartphone buyers

No battery life, 3.5, ip standart, iq but huge 800$ price. Nice!!! Even worse then iphone.

Okay finally. As a first general impression, sounds good. Although we already knew almost everything (as a little side note, I even recognized the blonde girl, she is the same that was holding the phone in a leaked image weeks or so ago). Again, based on the first impression, its main cons are: first definitely the battery, but that's for the selling of the Mods (apart for a thinner body), the current lack of the BT 5 but okay eventually will come with the O/8 update, the lack of the OIS, the front cam MP could be slightly higher (for the trendy selfies, etc), and RAM could be 6GB, but instead they used 4GB, but mostly like the others: S8, etc. Basically it seems that's pretty all (FOR NOW).

When do OEMs get what to prioritize...
                                    Why include a smaller battery?
I know that the SD835 can be more energy efficient, but why not let the phone be able to hold the power even longer :-(
If will most likely be even thinner than its thin predecessor... Please stop making phones thinner.

Bullpoop. 5.5" QHD and not even 3000mah battery???
No headphone jack? Protruding camera? FAIL. Why? This is the FORCE model. The standard Z2 will be worse.
