HTC Desire HD and Incredible S get Gingerbread on 16 May

I bought my desire HD a couple of months back from orange UK but then got it unlocked so I can use it on 3 network. Does this mean I will get the update on 16th may because its unlocked or do I have to wait for orange release the update? Can someone please answer my question.

Dont get your hopes up to much people, They are saying they are going to start rolling the update out on the 16th not meaning your gonna get it for sure. you could still end up waiting days or even weeks

So when is galaxy s going to get gingerbread? It was stopped 20/4/11 but doesn't stop sites like this saying that this samsung phone has it already....
