Lenovo K7 Note runs through Geekbench wearing a Helio X20 chipset

26 July 2017
That would be a massive upgrade over the Snapdragon 430 of the K6 Note - two Cortex-A72 cores on top!

Helio X20?! Definitely Not A Killer, More Like An Above Average Mid-Range Phablet. Regarding The Price, Most Probably It Will Be More Expensive Than A Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Which Shares The Same Processor (Also Available With Snapdragon 625 As Mentioned Earlier By Bhuvanesh2015) & Same Amount Of RAM 4GB

it was my replacement phone when my nephew fiddled with my S7 and accidentally perma-locked it. Samsung freed my phone after a WHOPPING month of arguments (fyi)

Helio X20? What a damper! Now I know why they advertised this as the Killer Note. It's because the Helio X20 is going to kill the battery life.

I am looking forward to the Lenovo K7 note because I heard it will have a dedicated memory slot unlike those K note phones which have hybrid sim slots. Also need good battery performance.

It's not a SD810 or à SD652 un term of throttling!!! Test it and don't read false rumors.
There's some applications that don't use A72. Chrome for exemple, but Chrome Dev/beta/Canary use them without any problem...strange

Outside gaming, speed is really close to SD820

IIRC, it's 2015 chipset, kinda old.
And the fact that it is still on 20 nm process node disappoints me a little. I was expecting a 14-nm chipset, skipping the 20-nm generation altogether. SD630 will do for me, while SD660 may be too much to ask for from this budget range.
Anyway, gotta wait until it becomes official.

Note: I'm using K4 Note with its 28-nm chipset, so that's my reference point.

                          K8 Note

                            3. expensive
                            4. less power
keep in mind lenovo K Note series is affordable phone and not flagship

It'd be a killer if used SD660. Slightly less single-core performance, better multi-core performance, way better GPU and better efficiency. And of course, it'd be offered at killer price.

Well, basically, before we can start to criticize, complaining, etc. We must know its price tag, that currently unfortunately it's not available. Because I can easily join club and say that the SD660 would have been better, and even the SD630 and so on and so forth. But finally everything will depend on its price point.
