Exynos 9610 and 7885 leak: Cortex-A73 cores and Mali-G71 GPU

27 July 2017
Earlier, the 9610 leaked as a 14nm chip. Either way, it won't be Samsung's top 2018 chipset.

I hope that this time those guys put in 3500 milliamp battery in the S9 and put in a bank 4000 milliamp battery in S9 Plus that would make my day with the exynos I am tired of seeing these big Powerhouse phones giving Paul for low ratings for the review when GSMArena does it if the phone can I give you 110 Plus on GSMArena battery testing I consider it personally garbage to have with you because they do suck down battery quickly I have an A7 2017 and that is a better receiver

Apolodor, 27 Jul 2017Yea keep puting single core/dual core gpus and I will buy a... moreI second that. No issues with my S6. Dropped the phone many times, no damage to the device or display. Only the internal film that reflects lights on the back has been loose. Can easily correct that with a skin.

Yea keep puting single core/dual core gpus and I will buy a 400 euro galaxy midrange that can handle only 30fps in most games and in youtube( no matter how horrible gfx would be) . Seriosly s6 is far better even after 2 years. And price droped to 375euros in my country. Better buy s6 than A series 2018.

I wish they design the Exynos to work with US markets. They have a far superior DAC, better compute power, and just seem overall better. Too bad it's thanks to Verizon and Sprint for still using crappy CDMA technology.

Peter-B, 27 Jul 2017Ah.. it sounded too good to be true. I'll update the articleThank you for the response! But my comment was deleted without any reason. I was just intended to update the article with correct information!

Samsung is joking. 14nm... A53... , and nougat 7 next year with high price, while there will be android 8 out, A-55 out and 10nm socs everywhere...

As for mongoose vs. A72/A73, I can't say. Samsung is mum on how much it changed.

PS, aren't the Mongoose cores just a slightly revised A72 cores? The Cortex A73 should be more efficient.

                    2018 Galaxy Tab A with S-pen :
                    - Exynos 7885 / Mali-G71
                    - at least 3gb of ram.
                    - ~10 inch 3:2 (1920x1280) PLS laminated display!!!!! No AMOLED please (and probably won't happen on a budget device) because Samsung devices always maintain at low PWM unless they set to 25Khz.

                    Aww sweet! :D

Seems promising, they finally begin adding A7x cores to mid range as the previous A series all were underperforming at their price. But why did they go back to the less efficient G71?

People who read this article will probably wait till 2018 to get a midrange phone. Hahaha
