Anonymous, 30 Jul 2017Even though I don't like Samsung mobile division for their ... morealthough I don't like you being paid to mock Samsung flagships as being laggy, when they are the worlds best handsets. Its good to know with Samsung being so far ahead of crapple in every way, that crappo are now forced to ditch the massive ugly low quality lcd screens to copy Samsung by buying its Samoled screens as well as the other stuff it uses from Samsung. There is virtually no reason to buy a second grade crapple copy of a Samsung phone with a crapple logo stuck on it to make you think crapple made it.People are just ditching crapple for quality. They want a real Samsung phone ,with real Samsung parts, made by Samsung, with a Samsung label on it, not a desperate attempt by crapple at playing catchup to the Samsung android world, by sticking a fruit label on a virtual copy of a Samsung phone. The 10th anniversary crapple model, should be called the "shame model"

Even though I don't like Samsung mobile division for their unoptimized and laggy phones including flagships, still I congratulate Samsung company as a whole for a profit rise.
People in here should put in their minds that this is Samsung company as a whole that we are talking about and not their divisions so don't compare iPhone and any other company that only make phones, laptops...

Samsung should stop smartphone. My s8 lags like a 200$ android. Full of redundant worse applications copied from iOS but poorly built. Notes, Reminders, blurry app drawer bg, etc etc.
If you want copy iOS then make your own os - dont make iOS skinned Android. Try to understand they are different.

Dont know what and how much they sold for incomes, but Mobiles operating profit is down 25% YoY in first 2 quarters.

Well done Samsung you deserve this, from making your own phones to making components for other devices from Apple, Huawei and Xiaomi.
Deserve to be the Number 1 company.

This was worst q2 results for mobile business since 2011.
Yet S8 released month later than usually galaxies so this should have been big q for mobile business and according to sammy, S8 is selling very well. Something doesn't add up..
