I think may people here in europe didn't buy it because it had the LCD screen while they knew that somewhere else in the world it has the AMOLED screen.

theres a lot dual sim fone available and a lot of costumers who wants to buy this fones.. but the problem is, they dont know how this fone works.. like, dual stand by, dual active, can this fone fone recieve call while other Sim is in use... but the worst of them all is... GsmArena is not reviewing dual sim fones, not explaining anything about this.. they are so busy with smartfones.. you are so bias.. they dont mind cheap fones...

Presently Dual processors are ruling, as of today it only makes sense to buy a dual processor phone to keep pace with current trends.

The price drop has nothing to do with product life cycles in my opinion. This phone is simply not selling well, certainly not down here in Australia.
Vodafone have dropped it down to a $29 cap plan, and even then I don't see many sold. HTC devices and the Samsung Galaxy S sell much much more. I don't think everyday people understand the Nexus brand name as having any great value.

Ebuyer also had this version of the Nexus S for around that price when I checked 2 weeks ago.
The Samsung Galaxy S is also available from many places for only £250 with Super AMOLED.

They're all overpriced, I'm on 65 grand a year and wouldn't dream of spending more than £200 on a phone. I'm the gadget king as well. I have a 3d projector with a wall sized screen...which was value for money. Happy with my new x10 off ebay new for £170 what with ginger bread on it's way.

Rule 3 of principles of economics state that people are rational and they think at margins. But consumers' rationality becomes affected by ads, peer pressure, and many other factors. I think consumers make irrational decision when it comes to purchasing smartphones because they frequently look for certain brands rather than how well the device can supplement their lifestyle.
iPhones were the most expensive phone for sometime and on spec sheets they were always slightly behind competition. I'm up for discussing the user-friendliness of iPhone compared to other phones, but one significant factor for iPhone's success is the brand name and the popularity and this is where you really question the rationality of the consumer. Is the product worth its cost? In my opinion, it's very overpriced.
