As lg fanboy I approve this deal

It basically means coming dawn for LCD screens, doesn't matter what they will be used on low-end and mid range smartphones for years to come, but obviously it is signalling the end for it. And most fortunately, Samsung stands miles ahead in front markets of Oled and mobile chipsets, their knowledge and innovations paid off, that's mean that Samsung will become second to apple by most profitable companies in a world in coming decades or something like that

Also the color coverage is excellent even in basic mode. And those perfect blacks... But hey, it's your choice to not take advantage of these displays.

Truth is, it's not just amoled panels suffers from this kind of screen problems. Even LCD display. Take my LG V10 for example...

Also, burn-ins appear only if you are dumb enough to let your phone on the exact same app without doing anything for hours, even if it's just scrolling or turning it off. That's how the demos in your BBY or whatever might have burn-ins. They play their stupid demo video over and over

Maybe amoled is the technology of future, but still has bad bluish (or dirty yelloish) tint on whites and greys. And - of course - real resolution is lower than advertising due to pentile. And what about color reproduction anter year of usage (and don't forget burn-ins)?

Well Apple is that know what is doing, they know is that Samsung have many clients for their Amoled displays for that the production is not enough for them. But Samsung is a company which have capacity of build a factory in one day to other, if is that the problem, Samsung solve it already. They produce the the majority of oled displays around the world. Remember that. LG haven't the capacity which Samsung have. Samsung are a better company in all the aspects.
