The truth is, i believe we should give them time to lapse this rebranding phase then, wait for them to launch their products.
I however, hope they regain their stance as the leader in the mobile genre.

I love Nokia because they are innovative and they dare to be distinct and different. I hate Samsung because they benefit from the expense of the other companies they copy. Unoriginal, cunning, two adjectives that best describe Samsung. Flashy interface, ugly-designed phones are what Android phones are.

Instead of changing the font and renaming their services they should start working more on the things that need change for exsample giving regular firmware upgrades. I have n97 and after the last firmware that was ages ago and didn't solve a thing i get no more upgrades except for the Ovi store. They need to finnaly work that out and make the devices usable. I hate it that it's superior hardware does nothing with that crappy and full of bugs software

Actually, the name can make a difference for many people. Of course, quality of service and consumer price are both paramount. So, it makes sense to capture customers who measure service quality AND/OR an appealing name as well. Cast a wider net, if you will.
People are spending good, hard-earned money for these devices and expectations are high.
