Ovi services do not support old Nokia phones, even if it an N-series or E-series.
that's why it fails...

This is great! Changing the name doesn't it changes the quality itself but however the sound of the new name for me is better than its old name Ovi store isn't quite catchy as the new changed name Nokia Store. I bet some people would be a fan of it. Btw, about the Anna update. We want it to be release now so we could enjoy your phones with the new updates itself.

it is ok change the name but do not change your free navigation for live to chargeable option.
hope after changing name have better service to your customers and your employee.

chinni, 16 May 2011name doesnt matter only we need is better services Naming does matter. "Ovi", though means "door" in Finnish, it means "kindergarden" in Hungarian.
And as the article sais it is nothing more than the admittance of failing in the proper marketing of the "brand".

Doesn't change much Nokia is a sinking ship by the end of the year would have been taken over by Apple and Samsung and maybe even HTC in Smartphone market share.

"epic fail" just because they switch the name form "OVI" to "Nokia"... the brand recognition of Nokia is probalby 1000 times higher than the one from "OVI" and i think they just fixed a (minor) "problem" in consistency. It should have been NOKIA already in the first place... but overall its not a big thing and for sure not an "EPIC fail"
