I don't know whats wrong with people but personally I prefer function over form anyday! I do not ever wish a totally bezelless phone since that makes it very difficult to operate the phone, especially when are laying on the bed. Same is true about single-handed use. Seriously, people should get out of this impractical mindset!

Okay, I'm a total bezelless fanatic, but I'm not really diggin' this design. It's like the Essential PH-1, but with the cool camera that it's out into the screen being lengthened. It just makes the whole of the phone feel top-heavy. This is why the earlier adapters of this design (like Sharp, and, heck it, Xiaomi) put all their sensors on the bottom. Top-heavy phones pretty much suck, unless you hold your phone upside-down.

(going by the pic/render) they've added dirty side bezels to it hahahaha. And the adding an apple on it is a lie. They've added an apple that has been bitten into. It's almost a metaphor for, we will sell you an apple for the price of a bitten one, but you'll buy it.

Considering how integrated touch id is into apple pay, banking apps, billing, etc. I don't see apple abandoning it for flaky facial/iris recognition that no one likes. Imo apple is the king of marketing and hype so this is just a move to boost iphone 7 sales and/or curb expectations.

Maybe if youve been keeping up with Apple's last three generations of phones and their business model in general, you should know that they are exploiting consumerism to its finest.

Iphone 8 is good with the design. Lets wait as Apple will disappoint all of us by telling us it is LIMITED quantity only for this year. Then they will tell us not available in your country, yet. Wait till next year. Go buy the king of bezel, iphone 7s and 7s + instead. Sad. Overhyping and making us sad. I really want to see it this year hopefully.

It looks like apple's claim of edge to edge display is still a crab, the side bezels still remain hell as thick as the old models. Though the top n bottom bezels are removed but the edge to edge thickness still spoils it's perfect look as previously thought it would be....
