The Nokia 6120c - (Australia Version) has a (free to air) FM Radio, just plug in a headset to allow it to start. I had to power off and restart to get the radio tuning. I've only used it once. Buggy?

Battery life / talk time - I don't think I even looked at this spec. Before we complain, consider Bluetooth, video calls, signal strength, multi-tasking all drain extra power.

Speed - much quicker responding to a key-press than my old Nokia 6230i. Little or no lag.

I've only had this phone 7 days so I cant really comment any further other than to say it works well as a basic phone and the 3G coverage seems to 'hang in' better than GSM in fringe areas. Plus it's a 'smartphone' which is all new to me at the moment. Multi-tasking, work & play applications etc certainly sound good, and I am sure it will crash occasionally like all technology. GIGO. Turn off and on - all fixed.

Fortunately the talk time is longer in real life than in the specs. I get over 4 hours out of a single battery charge. With 3G switched off, the people at http://www.osnews.com/story.php/18568/Review-Nokia-6120-Classic/ got more than 5 hours.

That's because you don't need internet access to listen to the radio. It's got classic FM radio built-in.

You'll need to plug in a headset though, because it doubles as an aerial.

I have this phone and it does have an FM radio. Perhaps in some countries it doesn't. It isn't mentioned in the manual or the specifications, but it does have a normal FM radio separate and in addition to the visual radio service.

its gotta radio they all say - how awesome they all say - BUT they DON'T tell you that you have to use internet access just to listen - I wanted radio as in the true sense of the radio - scan for the free to air stations and listen - simple! BUT NO - YET ANOTHER COST JUST TO USE THE SERVICES WE HAVE ALREADY PAID FOR! why do most services offered on these phones require you to pay more moeny to your provider when these services were previously free? Ok so it a 'visual' - I didn't ask for that - I wanted normal radio like the other Nokias had. I wwantto LISTEN to it not WATCH IT!!
NOT HAPPY WITH THE PHONE AT ALL!

As far as Best GSM phone is concerned then my vote is for Nokia 6310i + 6230i + 1100 + 1110i + 1112

In Smartphone (Symbian) Its E50 The best ever and now the comig up model 6120 Classic. But 6120 should be shipped with a good power battery, not less than 1100 mhA

Nokia 6300 is good and slim.NOKIA please make something lighter and slim that fits in our pocket easily,N73 is good all features excellent but thickness unbearable and keypad shape with silver shine on its boundary so cheap and keypad so small one cannot send sms easily.NOKIA CAN YOU COME UP WITH ONE PERFECT PHONE?AND IF YOU CAN WILL YOU LAUNCH IT WITHIN COMING YEARS????

NOKIA 6120 is not the lightest GSM phone the lightest phone is NOKIA 6100.Why dont NOKIA make someting slimmer and something with smart keypad like Nokia 6100.Nokia only 3 cell phones made a market 6100,6230 and 6230i.Nokia attracts coz it is user friendly its software is easy and battery time is good compare to samsung and sonyericsson. On other hand MOTOROLLA comes out with beauty with metal body metal shine keypad that thing looks executive and body is all metal whereas Nokia is all cheap and bad quality plastic except sirocco 8800 which is damn expensive. Why dont Nokia makes something slimmer in slide phones and bar phones???WHY NOKIA WHY???
