How does BlackBerry think people will buy its phone with such a price, you can get a 6gb ram phone same price or cheaper with better specs. As if it's diamond coated

Apparently this is not made by TCL, rather by Optiemus infracom. So, not sure if the build quality and capabilities of the phone will remain same. Of course, it looks better in black than in silver.
Priv is still the better design. They needed a better quality battery (a 3405mAh should not only give SOT of 3.5-4 hours) and larger-sized keyboard.

Though I'd be happy for a carrier here to pick up either model.
3Gb/32Gb or 4Gb/64Gb... it wouldn't matter as long as I could pick it up.
Great for those in India though.

First of all with due respect to Blackberry,
With around 40K price range proving Snapdragon 835 called good idea instead 625. Paying these much people should feel they have latest specs at least for year.
Camera processing is just ok, not great, it uses same sensor as pixel but due to processor limitation photos are not par with google pixel.
Phone looks fine and unique, just camera and good processor would have made it worth of 40K.

They are still making the same mistakes with pricing. What they should have done is lower the price of the original version to $500 and price this black one at $550.

for those who saying there are better device ... we all know it
for those saying only snapdragon 625, this will still be enough for intended customer
i never owned blackberry and probably never
but this is for people who want a unique device
