Maybe it was just poor wording but the g5+ has a 5.2 full HD screen, not 5.5
This kind of stuff makes me have to figure out what other brands to check out other than moto. Needless update to the G series and there isn't a chance updates are going to make it to all these moto phone.

People, this is just a mid-ranger from Lenovo, it doesn't have to have all the features, all the good camera and SoC, also sd450 wont be available for phones before november or even december, if they had put sd630 it would have cost more, but I agree that it is stupid not to bump the battery up on the plus version and the prices being a little overpriced, but since Moto g4, this has been the way it is, let's just hope the Moto x4 will be the better mid-ranger with its unique design and camera.

The Moto G5s should've at least had a SD435, and the G5s Plus- SD626. Btw I'm a Moto user for quite some time but I'm probably gonna start looking elsewhere really soon...

Will G5S have better build quality than Moto G5? My Moto G5 have horrible backlight bleeding at the bottom of the screen, I can actually see the lights if I look from the top down on the bottom edge of the screen!

Moto G models starting to get overpriced for what they are. The G5S shouldn't be more than €250 maybe okay for the G5S given the dual camera setup.

Also, it seems moto i... moreand that is exactly how you turn a company around.. they aren't going to make any profits at all with giving bargain specs for cheap prices.. Unlike Xiaomi who doesn't advertise much , they do a lot of advertising that costs money , Plus they intend to be big in offline market as well.. all these stuff costs money .. they would be running in losses if they don't increase the prices or compromise on specs a little bit.. with all the overheads..

still trying to figure out what is the big difference between the S models and regular models ??? .. G5s is almost same as G5 with just 200mah more battery ? and its prices almost $100 more ... ridiculous .. why would anyone go with G5s when they can get G5 plus with 4gb ram and better processor ?????
and G5s plus is almost same as G5 plus with extra lens and given the price range that dual cam setup will definitely not take any better pics than the G5 plus.

No boost for the battery of G5S plus is another stupidity, battery is gonna be much worse. Then companies like Lenovo say "its really hard to turn motorola's fortunes around". This is how they expect to turn fortunes around.
