As a US citizen, I'm very interested in the X7! Glad AT&T decided not to go w/ it. I'd prefer to have it unlocked and commitment free! I am a guy, afterall!

AnonD-473, 17 May 2011more value for money? seriously? nokia is shit expensive...... moreif u compare to iphone and n8...the hardware tat n8 offers is more compare to iphone...the advantage it has over nokia i think is only the retina display and the os it's using...lg and samsung is quiet expensive..if u compare wit the spec they offer in contrast wit nokia...

Btw i heared also that Microsoft is interessting about Nokia after they bough Skype any valide information about that

Where did you get your N8? Was it through "Robbers" or, was it at Pacific Mall? I'd like to get one but, Rogers only has it in the white-silver.

I agree with you that android offers too many updates that ultimately leads to obselute technology of their own platform as well as the consumers are affected. BB, iPhone & NOKIA are quite solid & duly put in a lot of research before providing an update. the end result is that you can use these OS for a longer period as compared to android. Also the resale value of the ph. is affected due to the pace of upgradation. I wanted to purchase a Motorola Milestone but by the time I reached the market it was already outdated. Then I got a X-10 & a BB (six months ago) while the BB is as solid as ever now I feel that my X10 is outdated. Besides I miss the customization which you can do in a NOKIA.

I like the X7, a lot of people including my friends and co workers here in the US are only concern with image when it comes to cell phones. I like that my nokia come with no branding and I can customize it the way I want to. I never complain about battery life with my N8. I always here reviewers bashing the symbian OS but never took the time to review the maemo 5 os which is wonderful and would give any cellphone a good old smack down. I stop listening to cellphone reviews after I got my Nokia n8 because I saw that most reviews are personal not reviews. Nokia please take your time like you are doing with coming out with great devices. The people that are claiming to be real nokia fans are not,only bandwagon jumpers. How could you be a nokia fan and say harsh thing about the company and their products. I like all cell phones because they offer something different. I like the technology that HTC & Google has created with andriod but it has two many updates for me. We accept these Froyo, Honeycomb, and Icecream sandwhich updates but no one has stop and said hey HTC/Google stop updating us so much and give us one solid OS. I own a EVO from sprint and I own a Nokia N8 with T-mobile. When I sold my nokia e73 I got 85% of what I paid for it but when I sold my samsung intercept I received about 35%. The problem was that my interecept was not the latest andriod OS at the time which cost me when I upgraded to the EVO. With all these upgrades coming out every 4-6 months you will be paying twice as much if you would have purchased a nokia device. The andriod fans are constantly having new devices and when I pull out my EVO the andriod fans are like oh that is not the EVO 3D so it is worthless. I am a cellphone lover and looking at the X7 with anna is not looking bad at all. My Nokia N8 is better than my EVO in "my opinion". My evo is my personal phone and the N8 is my work phone. I could never have and android phone as a work phone it is my personal toy...which I love for that purpose only. I can see myself with having any nokia device...in a since I might be a fan deep down inside...but I love all cell phones. Nokia, BB and the iPhone are the most stable phones I have ever used. You can dislike my comment if you like but you have to admit that there is some truth to it. If you ever owned a bb, iphone, or a nokia then you understand my statement.
SN Nokia and GSM Arena please update us on the Nokia n950 if possible. Meego OS is up and coming. If that device is anything like the meego tablet...Nokia stocks will go through the roof.

I know they will release it with Symbian but they should provide a later update to the new OS... which will most likely be the new windows OS.
Otherwise, i doubt anybody will buy this phone.
I love symbian... I've got an E71 that puts any blackberry I've had to shame....
But... Symbian has stayed the same while iOS and Android have moved on.
Time to have an OS that makes the phones shine... previously the Phones were doing all the shining... and the OS was found wanting...

i no us citizen would be interested. iam a loyal user of nokia since 15 years and now im also thinking to change my phone brand if nokia didnt release meego soon. im using n900 the only nokia gsm phone with maemo os. im fed up of using symbian coz.
same icons from last 10 years.
almost same screen resolution.( 320 x 640).
same sound effects e.g key tones.
same theme effects.
and above all NO EYE CANDY in the OS.

I've been running n900 on wind since last year and it broke so i got my n8 since launch and wind is awesome and it shows off the power symbian very well iphone is unlocked and so is the c7 since you can unlock it after 3 months of use which gets rid of all the bloatware

AnonD-473, 17 May 2011more value for money? seriously? nokia is shit expensive...... morei agree wid u on the fact that this phone is shitty xpensive.......but in the mid range u get many bang 4 ur buck nokia phones like nokia c6-01 and c7.......these both work better and faster than galaxy ace, htc wildfire, xperia x8, optimus 1, and many other mid range android shits...these androids lag and give problems like anything(xcept web browser).....android os is just good and stable in the high range ..............

Not only is symbian unpopular in the US, as the UK's not too keen with it. Its a shame the OS lets Nokia down as they are a fantastic manufacturer.
