How many times will google a... morethey felt they lost I'm some segment and instead of being innovative they drop working solutions to make copies of what got more popular... fb/g+, gtalk / hangouts - allo (and the latter is regarded because we nicely dropped independent of the mobile phone id and ability to login in multiple places... and no, whatsapp Web client is quite stupid... because od the said paring and being tied to 'mobile first')

pablo, 02 Aug 2017you have to ask the question. How many times will google a... moreGoogle are trying to "innovate" for the sake of "innovating". Exactly the reason why I abandoned them. Shortly after Jellybean, google started to become hubris and queer. It could also possibly be a ploy to limit and mess up the stock apps to push people to purchase through the play store or use "free" ad ridden apps. Either way, I wasn't happy so I abandoned ship.

How many times will google abandon and recreate their chat client? GTALK -> Hangouts -> ALLO
Why? What amazing superior improvement did they make that warranted wasting so much time? Whatsapp, Messenger & Wechat are light years ahead and will be until Google stops changing and just sticks to 1 client and puts features in it that other apps already have.
