You could've had a faulty gear fit 2, cause the one I have (did give it to my sister now that I switched to LG Watch Sport) was spot on. Maybe it is just me that I do not need a full OS on a watch, but the user experience, how intuitive it was, I can only say Well done samsung, Android wear is no where near.

    Android Wear is a true OS: An app can be installed and you can use your wearable correctly with another vendor.

    Here with the Gear Fit 2 it's just functions and that worked really not well: And on top of that, they are the sole vendor who can change something and they took near of one year before recognize they did something wrong and another year before try to do something !

    For finish, I would like to say the issue I just described I experimented it with only one device and it's the Gear Fit 2. With my LG Watch R I've no problems, neither with the Urban 1 and with the Gear Fit 1. Same thing with the Apple Watch, I never had this issue ! I just focus on the article and explained that yes I don't think Samsung will develop a great wearable, and yes, if there is any issue, they will do nothing to fix it.

      How to stay fit with these amount of smart device usage? Remove all and workout.

        Hello Sam First try to resolve the problems with your existing Gear S3 and fit2. I have used gear s3 for almost two months and its pathetic!! horrible product. Battery backup issue, Heart rate sensor issue, inaccurate findings!! same with gear fit2 !! I returned back fit2 and I could not do that for gear s3 so lost my money by selling it a 50% price. I heard that Mi band 2 is great and apple watch 2 is also great. My next choice will be one of these. I sincerely advice do not go with Gear S3 or fit 2 or any future Sam releases in this segment

            Price? Samsung gear S3's price and gear fit 2's price combined.

            I'll stick to my Xiaomi Mi Band 2

Oh, btw, I used mi bands, than gear fit 2 and than switched to LG Watch Sport. Having some experience with different platforms, I can only say that LG Watch sport should not cost more than $199. Wish I could sell it:)

                    Sorry but that looks like another planned failure from Samsung... They took more than a year before start to fix the footsteps counter so I'm really not confident in their capability to offer a correct hybrid wearable !
