Sony issues a fix for Xperia Z5 performance issues

I own a z5 since it came out, I am very disappointed in this phone, moustly lately it has some very big issues, restarts for no reason, very fast battery discharge for no reason heating up for no reason, restarts or shuts down apps moustly the Google play app and others, freezes and I have to reset it from the tiny button on the side, I just want to say I owned almoust every flagship since the Xperia z and that one performed better than this one, I wanted to buy the new xz premium but I have serious doubts. P.S. the proximity sensor has a mind of its own since the day I took it out from the box imagine the screen going black when you hit the dialer and telling the other person to hang up so you can have acces to your phone, and it does it randomly again very disappointed, I am Sony fan, but...

Pros - A specific style/efficiency of behaviour in the workplace or roles. Able to differentiate between good and bad. Just like a smart consumer who knows between a crab and good update of their respective phones!

What SOFTWARE for camera and battery to do with years of manufacturing? I don't see any 'bona fide' rationale that Z5 can't support the manual shutter control, manual focus control and battery care well! Stop being a pathetic once again!

MANY online retailers sell this model. I won't be using one, but feel free to do so-- if you manage to find one (which you can if try).

This is why i like Sony. They act fast in resolving customers issue. And updates are also fast. Unlike my old Samsung phone that took years before they release an updated OS. And i love their camera ü

wooty, 02 Aug 2017Lol. Instead of releasing a newer firmware to fix this, the... moreI just tried call history on my x compact, weirdly it does lag when scrolling fast. I've not experienced that in any other menu, even longer ones. So fairly minor, and a very confined issue.
I'd imagine the more powerful sd820 or 835 devices load up full resolution camera images faster than my device also, they have 3-4x the gpu power.

My 2015 ex flagship has 7.1.1 and works great.
No lags. I do not need to reset after 3 months like a few new flagships around.
Some phones are 7.0 still...
