AnonD-1082, 18 May 2011No it's not. It's ugly and cheap looking. It looks like it'... moreI beg to disagree with your statement. The au kddi infobar A01 is such a nice looking phone, although made of plastic but far off from the samsung/lg plastic series phones... Plastic quality is very good.. color variations are really awesome and SCREEN is totally outstanding.. I suggest you better have tested and touched the phone first before giving your negative comments.. The UI of this phone is really much different and easy to use.. Being an android 2.3 phone, it has all the goodness of non Japanese android phones.. kudos to sharp (maker of infobar A01)... Only drawback it has, headphone jack uses the same micro usb port.. cheers...

            • TV tuner in Europe?

Why no one makes smartphones which have a DVB-T TV tuner, that would be sold in Europe?
Only japan (and maybe korea) has this feature.

I have been waiting for years for a smartphone which would have a dvb-t tuner! when will it happen?

UI is definitely WP7 rip-off (but in a good sense hehe). But I hope MS sees this and makes their tiles more customizable. Solid, single-colored tiles becomes boring after a while. :P

AnonD-5197, 17 May 2011really good design both hardware and software. I like.No it's not. It's ugly and cheap looking. It looks like it's inspired by an Ambulance siren. Take a look at the bottom, I bet the default ringtone sounds like a siren and thank goodness it's Japan only. If it was released worldwide then it's DOA for sure. In terms of design, this crap got nothing on my Nokia N8.

Please stop calling every Android phone a Droid. That name is exclusive to Verizon's crappy lineup and SHOULD NOT be used to describe the OS.

                      definitely WMP7!

I hope MS is seeing this. they should make their tiles a little bit more customizable. Single-color solid tiles become a bit boring after some time.

japan have some of the most coolest and advanced gadgets, but i don't understand why japan doesn't seem to care to market their electronic products outside of japan.

Look creative and cool. It is just different and has not much resemblance to any android phone currently in the market. I always feels Japanese is creative and damn hard-working too. Shame on myself.
