The superior auto mode in Xperia ZL used to amaze me with its clarity and focus. Since then each generation has improved the feature. Superior auto in My Z5 can quickly read and show wheather it is in my hand or in tripod, shows scene name outdoor, landscape, documents and so on. I really dont get about this smart invention by apple.

Yes, iOS has less features, it has limitation. But its the most stable smartphone OS. Most of the iPhone users are happy with I iOS. I am using S7 edge and iPhone 7 plus. I like both phones. But for me iOS is better. Smooth UI and Apps are more optimized.

Anonymous, 03 Aug 2017Touch ID in power button was not copied by Apple to Sony! ... moreThis is incorrect.

HP actually owns the patent for an device side power button embedded fingerprint sensor (I may have that name mixed up, but the words are all there!! lol), and Sony refused to pay the insane licensing fee that HP wanted, so they disabled the sensor in the states. There are many MANY MANY great articles with Sony claiming HP was trying to extort them with their licensing fees.

Apple used clever patent wording to get that patent, calling it 'TouchID Sensor'. I am looking forward to HP coming after them once the iPhone 8 is released (if indeed they actually use it, and not the rumored IR facial/iris scanning 'Pearl ID').

HP got the patent approved, and renewed w/ updates, in 2005 and 2012 respectively.

                        Obviously you're not a golfer.

                        Please know your facts.

First, if you're using Android File Transfer, the app hasn't been updated since 2012, and therefore doesn't play nice with the newer USB-C specs. This can be resolved by using a microUSB to USB-C adapter, since it swaps the data signal paths to a standard that AFT can understand. So, workaround #1:

Use an old-school USB-A to microUSB cable with a USB-C adapter (microUSB to USB-C).

The second solution is a newer app called 'HandShaker' that you install on your iPhone and your MacBook via The App Store. It's can be a bit hinky to set up, but once you get it rolling it works extremely well with the Pixel duo (and most other Android devices). It also transfers at USB 3.0 speeds (provided you're using a compatible USB 3.0 port), which can sometimes be an issue with AFT even when using a USB 3.0 port.

With either solution, don't forget to switch your connection options to 'File Transfer' (FTP) instead of 'Charging Only', because on MANY Android devices, 'Charging Only' is the default (for obvious security reasons).

                          Hope that helps.

Touch ID in power button was not copied by Apple to Sony!

Apple owns it. It was patented by Apple a way back 2008 I think. Sony copied it to them, thats why all Sony phone from Amercia doesnt have fingerprint sensors in power button. Sony is paying Apple for every phone that has sensors in power button. Got it?

                            NOW THIS?
Perfect for the superficials who mostly use the phone to take photos of themselves as if anyone cares.

The important question is, however, will it have a headphone jack??

Alex, 03 Aug 2017Will it support double simcard? For sure not. Apple would lose 20% to 30% of iPhone sales if they go for a dual simcard phone. Most business phones are iPhones. Apple would lose these business phone sales if people simply put their business sim card into their personal iPhone.
