Nokia 8 may run Android 8.0.0 from day one

Oh, I was thinking that the Indian Nokia 6 would be the first one to ship with Android O. Who knows when Nokia 8 will be shipped.

    This is absurd. Why will the OEM that didn't even help make the OS get the latest version earlier than the one that actually contributed to the development of the new OS?
    This is pretty unfair on Sony's side, just like how it is unfair on Samsung's side to have their neighbor competitor actually get the latest version earlier than them.

      I dont think Nokia can bring down Samsung yet. They make own Exynos processors so they have more control over the hardware than HMD Global. And Samsung always get the latest Snapdragon first to.
      But I think Nokia will be a big player again, maybe at top five in time if they get things right. Especially at markets like India, Russia, Brazil, Nigeria etc..

              First last year lg v20 came out with android 7 nougat, now if nokia 8 comes out with android o 8 this are good news!!! But as always for nokia to win this should have low price as nokia 9 is said to have!!!

                    The Nokia's are finally taking over, look out Samsung your days at the top might just be numbered.

                      Good for them if android 8 will come as first on nokia 8 devices, they will boost sales respectively and at that price tag (from romanian vodafone carrier, if it's true) of 520€, a flagship, QHD screen, 6gb of ram, 64gb rom, who wouldn't want that? It won't break sales records like meizu or oppo in the first day of launch, but it will make others turn the back at it.
