CactusCat, 04 Jul 2011Really? 2/10ths of an inch (less than 1/4 inch) makes it HU... more.2" diagonally. Go to an AT&T store and pick up the HTC Inspire and the Samsung Infuse. They're 4.3 vs. 4.5. The Samsung feels huge. The 4.3 feels natural for a phone. The Samsung screen is craploads better...

I'm sure it sounds crazy for some but a cellphone that does everything can and will help your life its less cluttery and less heinous for you to get a cell phone and a camera and a navigation system and a ipod and pay a yearly subscription for sirus radio. plus don't for get you have to update the maps on the navi and you have to have a carrying case for the camera and a ipod cover for the ipod. How annoying is that........ so yeah don't be telling us to stop looking and be happy with a phone because i have a mytouch 3g and have been waiting for this phone ever since i heard about it...and that was like last year i think. I know a good chunk of ppl that are in the same situation as i am. If you can't handle us nerds being excited about the next best thin, well then.... no need to spoil it for the rest of us. Please understand this is pretty awesome.

Have my SGSII for a month and get a whole day with mid to heavy use and still some to spare, 2 days if its light use.

4'5 is way too big for me. Tried the Infuse, ridiculously humongous.
If this were 4'2 or 4'3, it'd be perfect.

...and as soon as this phone is released in August, we will hear about the Nexus S quad core phone on the horizon, and so on. Just buy a phone, stop looking at sites like this, and be satisfied with it for a couple of years. Or you'll be ever waiting 'just two more months' for the next hottest phone.

Crap does not tell us what is wrong with them so as to why we should choose or not choose them.
For example the "SGS has great screen but the camera does not have any kind of flesh which makes it bad for use in bad light."
You see with the above the reader knows that if photography is important to them on their phone then the SGS is not the one to go for.

except the sgs ii currently has a bad battery drain problem.. lasts less than one day and never gets fully to sleep. so far samsung have done nothing about it.. Not useable and am back to using my sgs.

I dont know what dreamy is about this phone. Atrix 4g already has got dual core 1.2 GHZ NVIDIA, with best screen resolution other than iphone of 540x960 has got 1 gb RAM. Out with gingerbread and promises 1080p recording capaility. Has got 1930 mah battery. Dont know whether SAMSUNG OR TMOB paid GSM arena for such caption

These are public boards which means anyone can post about any product as long as it does not violate the board's rules such as attacking an individual. If no one posted bad about samsung, Nokia, HTC, etc then every potential buyer would be mis informed. I doubt Nokia fanbois, Samsung Fanbois, HTC fanbois would ever say any of their products are bad would they? Every company/products has their pros, as well as cons. By posting about said company's cons and pros it gives users in depth personal opinions about products and allows them to make a more concise decision when they decide to purchase. Im tired, time to sleep.

I see a lot of people complaining about the screen size of these phones, that's funny because I think if you think these things are too big then you should go to dumb/feature phones.
Smart phones are mobile computers with phone capabilities. However I think 4.5" should be the highest they go as the single hand operation becomes too compromised.
To haters of Samsung, please grow up and go buy from the company you like if do not like Samsung stop talking about Samsung quality claiming it's bad. Samsung device owners are happy with their systems, so are HTC owners with and theirs and Apple's with theirs.
And people please leave Nokia alone, it's a matter of choice and to some of us technical capabilities not just media hype.
It saddens me that everytime I tried to read the peoples views about a product they just start bashing/ hating instead of informed and informing comments.
Just because you do not like a certain brand that does not make it crap and if you feel it is crap then keep it to yourself as surely that assessment is not a technical one. Some families have worked hard to manufacture the product you are insulting.
Now on a happy note let's go buy that SGS II/Sensation/Optimus 2x / white iPhone4 and any other gadget we like and be happy with our choice.

In my eyes this is not better then the Galaxy S II, but worse. I have my Galaxy S II in my hands and something bigger then this isn't good anymore. Why 4.5 inch? The 4.3 inch screen on the GSII is big enough to do anything.
Everybody thinking between Galaxy S II and a Galaxy S II copy with 4.5 inch, go Galaxy S II. Now. Its incredible, no joke!

On every blog I read there are people complaining about the phone size. Get a bluetooth and keep the phone in your pocket like everyone else including yourselves. Oh yea I need this phone ASAP don't make me wait till September.
