hello, im from malaysia, as most of u all commented about the htc is really no good and advise to go for galaxy s 2, really that bad?? is galaxy s 2 really like almost no bad point? just not really wan go for galaxy s2 as the designs are noting like iphone... hear more form ur comment those who have tested. thx

I had high hopes for this handset when i got it on Friday but after a weekend of testing it looks like it is going back.
The video and camera are very good, everything looks clear and sound is good. Playback of AVI files was surprisingly disappointing for such a powerful phone.
The battery life is woeful to be honest, i didn't get half a day of use and it was not intensive use either! GPS failed massively to find me both on Endomondo and Google maps.
The main issue however it the unforced reboots (5 so far in a weekend). Not sure if this is something that others have gotten so far but i'm afraid i cannot wait to see if their is an update.
The screen despite it's pixels in not a patch on the SGS 2 with viewing angles relatively poor and the blacks not really black.
In short a potentially great phone is let down by too many bad points.

i was in doubt to choose GS2 or sensation and as you say about the camera it seems i need to choose samsung.sorry to hear this.i dont like samsung design but camera and battery is more important for me.

I was comparing two phones this morning at the shop sensation and galaxy 2.Minutes later the other htc fun popped into a shop and ask for sensation to play with. two of us eventually came to disappointment.Screen is highly reflective, camera is quiet poor, video recording is not impressive. Blacks are not truly blacks on the screen. UI on is as always superb though on htc, phone feels solid but i would not say it is wow solid!. Both of us have htc desire at the moment and both of us were scratching our heads.No sensation was left after all.One thing that irritates me is they can't sort they camera out after a year!!! Funny enough sale assistant was very into our play with mobile game and at the end he said: it is just my opinion but from what i saw you demonstrating ( htc vs samsung) i would by myself galaxy 2. Too sad.I will move to sammy though it is plastic but feels quiet free of short comings.

Just spent an hour playing with both sensation and galaxy 2. I have htc desire.hoped sensation will blow me away. No it did not. I had the other htc fan next to me and we were dissapointed. Screen is nor much improvment over desire, washed out, highlt reflective. Camera etheir does'nt do wonders. It feels more solid then sm 2. New UI is as good as always. Video recorder not as good as sm2.also screen blacks are notblacks but dark gret. Dissapointment.

got my ht sensation today on vodafone uk.great piece of tech.fast,very nice htc sense menu.metal built,feel very solid.my partner got the samsung galaxy s2,i would say the samsung is much better even if it's a plastic body.samsung much faster and the display much better than the sensation.the speaker of the sensation is not very loud.

Only geeks and i am one of them keeps going on about Quad core and
high benchmarks. Because it really does not make a difference that the Sensation is slower that SGS2
What i look for is does the phone run well with everything that i put on their, Quad is a selling tool because to be honest Dual core has not even began to be tested to its limits yet.
Oh and of course the general public dont care. they just want it to work.

in my opinion :-) lg optimus 2x is better then this :-) because when htc come to market . 2x will get 2.3.3 :-)
