AnonD-632062, 07 Aug 2017Looks very bland. I was expecting a more vibrant colour.Yes, very lame indeed. It's basically just silver with a tiny hint at gold in it. Poorly designed.
Others can do much better Gold hues, e. g. see the Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra for a great Gold colour:

AnonD-368020, 08 Aug 2017Limited edition exactly like midnight black of 3T. Now that... moreThe thing is, the "midnight black" OP3T was only available in the 128GB version and other limited editions even commanded a premium price over the regular "top" version. This time around it's only available as the cheapest model (64GB).

Bad mouths may say this spells troubles.

limited edition. Its the excess black color that didn't sell well. They repaint it in gold and call it limited edition. Really?color now is limited edition?funny.

Limited edition exactly like midnight black of 3T. Now that crappy dark color phone is everywhere. Damm even OP5 launched with dark colors. Poor marketing tactics.

well oneplus made a good move marketing wise, they made a phone for the masses and it's their best selling phone ever, that being said, those people (like us) who at least know a little bit about the internals know it's just a op3 with a QSD 835 and UFS 2.1 instead of 2.0, same fingerprint reader, same garbage display, same LPDDR Ram same, cam quality just better zooming etc you get the point. The phone most likely costs them 20 USD more for the better chipset and storage and cam but they slap 100 USD more on the price they want from you, f*ck off OP, you lost a loyal costumer, happy with my XZ Premium

Overpriced product is now marketing another overpriced product.

I do not worship this Oneplus 5 such like their sheeps while ignoring the fact that Oneplus 5 is no longer a flagship killer.

ugly.. they should do silver or titanium color...

When you are the CEO of OnePlus and realise that you also have to sell OnePlus 5's 6GB/64GB variant too. Lol

So... a few months after launch they are doing "limited editions" on the cheaper version of OP5. Interesting.
