Yeah, I'm going to replace i... moreI really want something like Sony Xperia x compact (not available in india) - small and powerful. As we dont have good compact phones in India, i am confused b/w Honor 8 or Redmi Note 4. Though Nubia z17 mini is great phone but lacks in battery compartment.

Why would anyone pay ~$400 for a phone that's bloated (I'm guessing Asus won't change this in the 4 series) and with SD 630 when you can get a flagship like Oneplus or a Xiaomi? I mean I like the Zenfone but the prices are unatractive specially when I bought 2 ZF2 and both are dead.

Samsung On Max and J7 2017 edition are priced well with almost all required features.
Not sure when Sony, HTC and Asus will learn.
Only reason why XIAOMI was able to capture market by saving cost on advertisement cost and hence keeping price low.

Me too using ZENFONE 5 from last three years. Working fine.
I feel like changing it now- just because of Camera (8mp seems out dated - though captures quality photos) and GPS (known problem for zenfone earlier series).

It's already 4! Next one is 5. And I'm still using Asus Zenfone 5. The old one from 4 years ago I think. Feeling old.

wouldn't mind the price of the pro if the dual camera specs is the same as the one found on the zenfone 3 zoom.

There is no Selfie version in the Zenfone 3 series, so I doubt there will be one in the Zenfone 4 series too.
