Pantech Curitel is a South Korean company specializing in manufacturing mobile phones. It was established in 2000. Its market is mainly domestic, but Pantech Curitel also has interests in Brazil, Japan, Hong Kong, China, India, Europe, Australia, Taiwan, USA, Mexico and Canada. It is currently the third largest mobile handset maker in South Korea, behind Samsung and LG Group. The company manufactures phones primarily for AT&T, Verizon and they also manufactured the Helio Ocean, which was publicly released on Friday, May 11, 2007 by Helio, but since May 25, 2010 has been discontinued after Sprint Nextel's acquisition of Virgin Mobile USA, who previously had acquired Helio.

                                  Firs of all cpu in this device was made by qualcomm so it isn't bad. I don't get gsmarena why post korean , american or any other phone which can only work where is sold and not everywhere in the world. Pantech made not one but most of their devices for korean only market so this one like every other sharp device which is sold and could be used in Japan is only for that market. Stop giving false hope.
