Helio P20 has ONLY 2cores Mali T880 (T880 MP2)!
The ONLY MediaTek SoC with 4core Mali T880 are Helio X20 variants!
T880 MP4 has proven its might to be on par with Adreno 510 in SD65x!
Kirin 950 & Helio X20 variants which has the same 4core Mali T880 could even beat Adreno 510 in several games (loading games & lagging/stuttering occurrences).
With the advantage of higher clocked Cortex A72 + 3-cluster system, albeit not as energy-efficient as SD65x, Helio X20 variants don't disappoint in performance for daily use.
The ONLY letdown of Helio X20 SoC are the inability to record 4K video & inefficient battery usage. IF ur only concern are CPU & GPU prowess, Helio X20 variants are worth every penny of ur money!
IF only Helio X30 released before SD835 & SD660 came out, it might become a popular SoC for mid-range Android device, as X30 have 2core high-clocked Cortex A73, coupled with high-clocked powerVR GT7400 plus (the successor of iphone 6s/plus GPU), which'll be a popular SoC rivaled SD660! (if u know how powerful the GPU inside iphone 6s, then u'll choose Helio X30-powered device hands down for its powerful GPU).
In short, learn to READ PROPERLY BEFORE SAYING SHIT, TROLL!

Strange that even though it was a Lenovo branded device and it had apps under its own brand name, it preferred to ship Motorola apps to that device.
This is because she said she would prioritize the launch of US-branded handsets, discontinuing the Zuk brands, and implying that the Vibe brand will also end the same way

then check how g5 plus or c7 pro performs on the same
x23 may b btr in processing but the graphics wis a huge let down for a deca core chjp

I usually prefer SD w/ Adreno but MTK x23 w/ Mali-T880 MP4 is better than SD625, a lot of SD fanboys should understand and learn how to compare chipsets, CPU and GPU, not just the name that it carries
all in all, this seems to be the best phone Lenovo has released which does not belong in the flagship series, way to go Leno
