I love Xiaomi. For me, the price is not excessive. The Samsung Galaxys are even more expensive, and they are not American either. They are Korean. For me the essential question would be: Wil the Xiaomi Mi mix 2 be compatible with the current and new LTE frequencies of T-Mobile? Because if not, it won't be worth it. But if it is, I'll be the first in the line to order one. Hopefully it'll be compatible.

That looks even more amazing than the Mi Mix 1.
If they provide it with a good camera, not some Omnivision crap as in the Mix 1, it could be one of the very best phones this year.

I don't care about the price, if it has one of the best cameras, I'm buying. ..but it will probably remain in higher middle class.

With blatant overpricing and enforcement of unwanted curved screens in S8 and Note 8 it seems that long-time samsung customers that are looking for decent price, flat screens (is it too much to ask?) and innovation, may find Mi Mix 2 and Sharp Aquos 2 a good option.

Half this price and it may interest much more people. Especially with no front cam, average earspeaker, not all LTE bands supported and slow updates policy.

Maybe they will have a small screen o the back to be able to use the one and only camera, on the back, for selfies and Skype..., if the front is all screen?
I think these totally bezelfree phones will be gone in a few years because they only makes the phones harder to handle without accidental inputs on that all front screen!

hope thats true design ... i feel its huge imrovement even though there isnt much difference . guess any addition to an allready great phone only makes it even greater

That time there was no real competition but this time it'll have to face G6, S8, iPhone 8, Note 8 & Pixel XL2. So i don't think they should be going for a premium price. Personally i would pick G6 & S8 over MI Mix 2 for 750$ anyday.

However, back then there were no other "premium" handsets with such a high screen-to-body ratio (I say "premium" because of Aquos line), but seeing as that is now THE MAIN FOCUS of recent smartphones (even Apple's iPhone) the Mi Mix 2 won't be AS special.
