kammem2, 10 Aug 2017just release shield or shield tablet with tegra x1 soc for ... moreNVidia shield was supposed to be used in combination with a gaming PC allowing you to stream your PC games, to the shield.
If you tried to use the shield without a gaming PC I can see why you were disappointed. Certainly not meant for "gaming" without a decent PC. Or you're limited to mobile games.

just release shield or shield tablet with tegra x1 soc for 200$ and i will buy it before release:) i had shield tv but i was disaster..you cant play any games from play store..only real racing 3, asphalt 8 and dead trigger 2 ...thats all

P.S. if you happen to own one of these and you're in a country that's not in their list (or later moved to a different country), you have to pay shipment for the replacement part/s.

why are they selling something that constantly needs to be plugged in Europe with US plug, of course it will be short circuit eventually since you are having it connected to power via plug adapter non stop
it may be fine for laptops which arent left plugged in for whole day but not for home electronics
