you use the phrase "Lenovos first Google Tango phone". Maybe I was in the closet fiddling with phones but what on earth is google tango?
Could've given us a quick overview in the article. Seeing as the entire article relies on you knowing Tango as something other than the delicious fizzy drink.

I'm glad that i send the phone back to Lenovo. The phone was too heavy and thick. Tango is funny, but after a while it's boring.
This is not a good service from Lenovo! The phone is a yeah old and already stop supporting it.

AnonD-402029, 10 Aug 2017got few xiaomi phones, all of it has few unwanted problem l... moreThat yellow tint was present in my dads redmi 4a. You can fix it from the color calibration option in settings. Haven't seen it in any other Xiaomi phone yet tho (used atleast 30 different ones)
There is one non responsive pixel in my redmi note 3 pro (it doesn't turn black. Whenever the black color turns up, it keeps displaying the color it was displaying instead of black). It's not noticeable tho. I needed a magnifying glass to see it.
As for the button, I didn't see that in any of the ones I used.
Meizu and Huawei are great. They definitely have better optimized cameras compared to Xiaomi, and I'd have gone for those brands, but I HATE those Mali GPUs.
Lenovo is pure crap. Every phone/tab/laptop I used had some defect or the other. Laptops had missing drivers (I went to probably the most reputed shop in our country when it comes to gaming hardware to get the Lenovo y720. They had 6 units left. All of them had missing graphics drivers. It is an easy fix but when the shop keepers tried to install it, the laptops crashed. All of them. And these shop keepers are huge nerds, so it is safe to assume that the laptops had faults) , defective mics, tabs and phones had sluggish touch, random restarts, frequent app crashes, badly calibrated sensors, etc. Most Lenovo users I know, sold their devices within 4 months of purchasing them. On the other hand most of the Xiaomi users I know, plans on getting another one next time.

The reason is because Lenovo decided to stop developing their custom UI and now will start using stock android in future phone. Older phone cannot be updated because there is no more department working on that custom UI. Phab series is custom UI but it is never named unlike Vibe UI. Even if it is updated to Nougat, it will be stock android and might lost all of its Tango capabilities and several other Phab series feature. If it not broken no reason to fix it. At least Lenovo should provide security patch.

edit: i didnt realize while buying it at store because screen usually max brightness there, it is hard to identify. but my daily life usage is not using max brightness. i asked my friends who got mi5, still the same problem. same as my old Redmi Note 2. just google redmi note 2 yellowish screen you can see it.

CM3, 10 Aug 2017LOL. Mi5, yellowish in white color, when compared side by side with other chinese brand like lenovo/meizu/huawei, Mi5 has very bad screen.
but things i like about xiaomi is software updates and community support..hardware quality wise, no more.
it is better to be loyal on company that gives better hardware quality than better software updates.

Classic move from Lenovo - Don't even try crying about it cause they won't care, been there, just get a different phone or flash a custom ROM.
