ASUS is really confident with their pricing.
They have to know that most selfies are degraded with filters to soften and lighten the skin. A higher resolution sensor will be useless and the 5MP is decent and should provide better low light performance.

Your comment may be more appropriate if it's Zenfone 4 or other non-selfie centric edition.
As crazy as it is, there are a market for this kind of phones.

Stick to laptops, Asus please.
I'm currently using a Zenfone Max to type this comment and I just don't know what happened to your design team.
From the very unique design of the Zenfone 2 series to the "meh" of Zenfone 3 series, up to this "Samsung-wannabe" design. Who would get this SD625 for $350 when SD820 can now be found even for $300? Are they lost?
Oh, and how about at least a 2K screen? 5.5" should always get that as a minimum, because I can still accept 1080p for 5-5.4" but definitely not at 5.5" and beyond.
Zenfone 2 will be the last great device Asus has ever made.
The supposedly branded "excellent value for money" company has just turned into Apple's pathway of success - greediness.

In search of incredible, once again. Just another piece of junk with the incredible zenui (incredible bugged). Better move out of mobile business just like they ex old partner Intel. They lost credibility, they lost a lot of their customers.
