I do humbly request all nokia bashers to bash only after learning abt. Mobile phones.Your 'favourite ' brands -oopo vivo & are 2 different brands of same company.The company tells that there phones have the 'divine ' power to make you look like srk or aishwarya rai in ur selfie with an age old dumbo processor. So pls understand the fact that those chineese shits know only to copy whatever apple does(even ui).their build quality and after sales support are poor.If you have any doubts about the build quality of nokia you can resolve ur doubts thru my nokia 6 yr old nokia c5 03 thru which i'm writing this comment

BUT the same China have technology too. If you are investing properly in R&D in phone's design then you are not paying less like the other chinese makers. So it's not a general notion that if it is made in china then it's poor quality, it depends on Company's R&D.
Nokia & Apple are best examples of this.
quality comes with cost.

The ease of repairability is VITAL for nowadays smartphone, and Nokia DID SO HORRIBLY, as screwing the phone to the chassis makes it hard to repair without specific tools for technician (not self-repairable)
DUDE.. I just had to reply to this.. I suggest you watch the teardown video of Nokia 6.. The Nokia 6 is as tough as it is repairable.. The screen pops out to reveal the battery(the 2 most common serviced parts are available on the spot) which has a pull tab adhesive.. Which company does that??? Seriously Nokia went above and beyond in build quality AND repairability.. That alone is enough to entice customers.. Sure the Nokia is priced higher compared to the cheapest Chinese manufacturer with zero after sales support, flimsy build quality(sometimes with wrong orientation LCD) and no updates.. If you compare the Nokia to Samsung, Sony, LG and HTC or even Huawei the Nokia price is very reasonable.. Stop your whining and read/watch more.. Probably you will be smart enough to understand

that is the main reason your bashing have no effects on fans.
I am not buying it because foxconn made it.
I am not buying because it has SD 430.
I am not buying it because it gives me latest updates.
I am not buying it because it is built like a tank.
I am buying a Nokia, that is what matters, SD 430 or whatever, Nokia will ensure smooth day-to-day performance out of it. Nokia will provide me a phone which is usable, durable, could take above average pics, & provide great media performance.
And in case there is some problem in the device, it has the best after sales customer care service.
But all that i talked is rubbish for you, because you don't see a phone as a whole, you can see only it's specs "what is the specs", "how many specs", "how much battery capacity", "how many ppi" etc....
people like you deserve Spec-Foccused Chinese models, which offers high specs in low cost cutting cost in those areas, which won't be shown in the specs ultimately dying out in a average of 6 months, making you guyz ultimate f**ls.
It's highly expected that most of the haters wouldn't be able to understand it yet .... xD

After SD450 officially released 2 months ago, no one cares about SD430-powered device, let alone the MUCH HYPED, OVERPRICED Nokia 5/6 duo.
You might justify the price with Nokia's "fast update" & "Android upgrade" promise, but at the end of the day, in real life case, WHAT MATTERS THE MOST IS the PERFORMANCE which means the SoC it equipped with, which TELLS EVERYTHING, whether it was WORTH THE MONEY / NOT, not a "tank-like build quality" but INFERIOR in ALMOST EVERYTHING.
TBH, if I had to choose a Foxconn-made Android smartphone, I'd easily choose the "new" SHARP phone over Nokia hands down, as Foxconn places its own brand as "value for money" to rival Xiaomi.
When SHARP S2 with SD660 comes out, Nokia 6 will look more "shitty" than ever!

whenever gsmarena posts anything related HMD/NOKIA all Nokia haters(whether he is ios user or MI user or sammy user or watever..) everyone comes here trying to bash nokia, fearing that their own fav brand will get squashed by NOkia.
They try so hard to show how bad Nokia can be ..... well they all can try.
But it changes nothing, Nokia is coming back, and Haters can't stop it.
I have waited more than year from 2016 for their comeback, so i am easily waiting for 2 months to get my hands on to the Nokia 6. I will buy the Nokia 6 this 23rd Aug and haters can't stop it.
There are lots of people who want nokia and haters can't stop it.
Am giving a open challenge to all you haters down there try as much as you can, you guyz don't have what it takes .. good luck ;).

Cheap or expensive is relative to each own wallet I guess. To me, those price is definitely not cheap. But it doesn't expensive either.
3) No way in hell Nokia 6 is worth the word "almost as good as iPhone". The SoC (CPU, GPU, LTE modem) performance of iphone 5/5s vs. Nokia 6 alone is like HEAVEN & HELL.

This is I agree. Comparing to iPhone is baseless. They serve different market tier. So obviously the performance is differ.

Yes. But that doesn't mean someone cannot learn from their own mistake. Moreover, the stock we are referring to was Nougat (7.x). The most refined Android yet (O still in the corner. Let leave it for now). The one they wrongly mocked was Cupcake (1.5), Donut (1.6), and Eclair (2.1) as long as I remember.

Nokia 6 is a midrange>low end phone, and everything in it even the camera is more quality then the money you pay, yes, even the camera. Megapixels have nothing to do with sensors and, as i was saying, this phones sensor does not cost as much as a 900 Dollars phone sensor should cost. Of course, their are phones like iphone that have 2 cent sensors, but i let them out, here we talk about Nokia. Nokia had good cameras in all phones you say? Probably, but the great Nokia photography came from Flagships not low enders or mid rangers. You know why? Cause sensor matters!!!! Now, take again a look at what i have been saying and stop being so childish.

The most important thing to know: sales record, let alone number of REGISTRATION, of POPULAR HYPE phone like Nokia 5/6, or BlackBerry KeyONE, doesn't mean the phone is good. It's just "popular", so many people "curiously" want to get the phone and try it.
Nokia is similar to Oppo, Vivo & Samsung in their marketing strategy: make a CRAP phone, add one or TWO selling points (Camera, RAM, Stock Android, fast update promise, etc), and give PREMIUM price tag, so potential buyer who doesn't know "good criteria to buy Android phone" will think that "high price tag = good phone".
Added with "crazy" marketing promotion; over and over, continuously, using FAMOUS artists, in VARIOUS media, will make people, subconsciously, think of Oppo, Vivo, Nokia, or whatever brand it is, when wanting to get a new phone.
At least, until Nokia 8 is officially released with the official price tag which says it's less than US$500, not just "rumors", I'll keep thinking the NEW Nokia as the same FOOLISH & ARROGANT old Nokia, keep making OVERPRICED POS devices which only sell because of the BRAND...
