Android still cannot show Bluetooth headset battery level nor play ringtone, kinda amazing people can still claim their never updated phones are "the best"

wow! this isn't part of android?? i haven't used a bluetooth headset for calls since i last used a nokia + symbian which had this 'feature' present already - so quite surprised to know about this!

Yes, usually Google is the slow one in implementing stuff in Stock Android that has been going on for ages on manufacturer's implementations.
Also quite funny that it took so long for this to come, it's not like oooh iPhones had it, I mean my Nokia 5610 aka THE BUG, had that too (and it actually used to scare the heck out of me on how loud the ringtone on the bluetooth headphones was). It was pretty funny listening to the default headphone's ringtone on my droids when I used it.

Okay clear my views. My phone already shows the battery level of my Bluetooth devices and the in band ringtones also work. So is Google slow at it or what

My gripes about Bluetooth in Android:
1. List of paired devices gets reordered every time
2. Tries to connect automatically to a device I don't want it to connect to
3. Disconnects with my car stereo-amp/ /receiver way too often
I don't have any of these problems with my 6th generation iPod Touch.
