Google Contacts app can now be installed on any Android device running Lollipop or newer

Up until today, you had to have a Nexus, Pixel, Android One or Google Play Edition device to enjoy its benefits.

Buggy! You are not taken back to the contract's detailed view after the call ends - for example if you have to dial contact's second number. Instead you are manually required to search the same contact again and tap on that for more details. Don't like it.

That's the geat news for me, Because i was want the Google Contact before this news release. I'm Gonna Fan of Google Apps.😍😍😍

Thanks for this info. While checking out Google Contacts with rating 4.1, I noticed another contacts app with dialer that had a better rating, installed it and loved it. I can FINALLY have dialer in non-native language. My S7 dialer is locked in English if the phone is set to English, new app allows me to pick dialer language manually (the second language is english). And it has contact search using both letters and numbers I put in. Loving it.

All thanks to GSMArena reporting on Google Contacts! :D

It has been like that for a long time. I even managed to install it on my Moto G.

You know, when google does something, it is praised even though it might be unusable
