Apple ALWAYS late to the game, trailing behind Samsung.
Samsung released the Gear S with telephony, a whole 3 years ago!
And even the Gear S3 frontier LTE a whole year ago!

It's good in 90% of cases, but it certainly could be better.
Other than that, i too like the Apple Watch - it's small, it's nice, battery life is abysmall, but that can be fixed (hopefuly).

Don't get me wrong I love my Apple Watch but I would never want the LTE enabled version.

This is apple we're talking about - the most money grubbing pack of fairies in existence. They wouldn't even make their earpods compatible with android, but you hope their smartwatch will be? Relatively few people are buying any smartwatches(not excluding apple's) because they are fundamentally pointless since most people already have their phone with them anyway. Lte won't change that...

If they make it compatible with android it will become a very big hit
Android wear is going downhill thanks to google and there's no interest at all in it - it's basically just waiting to be discontinued
