It's caked being factual. I never said they had to go bezeless. That was not stated or implied.
And the ratio by number might not seem that different but it obviously is .
And my point is not just the increase in size...10mm taller. 10 whole mm.while also being wider and thicker.
My point is how little to nothing was gained to use ask that increase in size. That's what makes their bezels extremely ridiculous. Especially compared to the bezeles.
For ask that you 0.26 inch bigger screen and about 100mah more battery. Even though it's also wider and thicker too. This compared to their phone from 3 years ago.
It's like they purposefully wasted all that space for nothing but made it huge anyway.
S7 edge while being over 5mm shorter, 5mm less wide, and 0.2mm thinner had a 0.04 inch bigger display and almost 400mah more battery.
I'm making similar complaints about the note 8 as well.
It's even 6mm taller, 2mm less wide though, and 0.6mm thicker compared to xzp. And only has less than 100mah more. And less than all its much smaller siblings.
But at least has that 6.3 or 6.4 inch display to make up for something.

Instead of making those antenna lines they should have made it like xperia sp's antenna the light at bottom except this time at top too this would make the bezels look smaller and would provide great visuals with those light effects but placing those light bars next to screen as on xperia s would be better so there is place for speakers at top and bottom

Bezels will doom sony phone business. It can be a good phone but when its placed with the likes of G6, galaxy s7, or the upcoming iphone, no one will bother picking up sony.
